Who we are

MarqBrain (“we”, “us”) is a marketing software product made by Onwords, a company based in India. We run the website marqbrain.com and the app at app.marqbrain.com. For any privacy question, use our contact form.

What we collect, and why

When you try the demo on marqbrain.com

• The website address you enter. We fetch the public pages of that site (the homepage and a few linked pages such as about, services, products and pricing) plus the public structured data on them. We never log in to any site and never read anything that is not public.
• The result we generate. The Brand Brain, post ideas, site check and sample report are stored so the result can be opened later at its link and in your workspace.
• A one-way hash of your IP address. Used only to limit free demo runs per day. We do not store your raw IP address with the result.
• Your email, if you give it. Used to save your result, reserve a founding price, reply to your message, and send MarqBrain news. You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete it at any time.
• Anonymous usage eventssuch as “demo started” or “demo finished”, and privacy-friendly page analytics from our hosting provider. These do not identify you personally.

When you use the app

• Account details: your email address and sign-in information.
• Your workspace content: brands, Brand Brains, post plans, posters, reports and any edits you make.
• Files you upload, such as Meta ad spend exports, Meta lead exports and sales sheets for a Money check. They stay in your workspace and are used only to produce your results.
• If you connect Meta (pilot, by request): with your permission we read the Facebook Pages, Instagram business accounts and ad accounts you choose, including page and post details, post and account insights, and campaign, ad set and ad performance such as spend and results. We use this only to produce your reports and recommendations. MarqBrain never changes your ads or publishes anything without your explicit approval in the app.

How we use AI

To read websites and write your results, the text we collect is processed by our AI provider under commercial terms that do not allow your content to be used to train their models. We do not use your content to train AI models either.

Who processes your data for us

• Vercel, for hosting the website and app.
• Supabase, for our database, sign-in and file storage.
• Our AI provider, for generating Brand Brains, plans and reports.
• Meta, only if you choose to connect your Meta accounts.

These providers process data on our behalf and only to run MarqBrain. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data or your business data to anyone, ever.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and workspace content for as long as your account is open. Demo results are kept so their links keep working, unless you ask us to delete them. When you ask us to delete your workspace or account, we delete its content within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep a record.

Your choices and rights

• See, correct or export the data we hold about you.
• Remove brands and files in the app, or ask us to delete your workspace, your account or anything else.
• Disconnect Meta at any time, in the app or from your Facebook settings.
• Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access to production data is limited to the people who need it to run MarqBrain, and database access is protected by row-level security so one workspace cannot read another.

Children

MarqBrain is a business tool and is not meant for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and tell signed-in users in the app.
